Noctua provides free K8 & Socket F Mounting-Kit for NH-U12PVienna, 13.12.2007 - As Noctua announced today, buyers of the new NH-U12P CPU cooler can now obtain free mounting-kits for socket F as well as socket 939, 940 and 754. As a result, the new high-end cooler can now also be used on Opteron based Servers and Workstations as well as older AMD systems.
"Since we've introduced the NH-U12P, we've received numerous requests from customers who'd like to use our new cooler in AMD servers and older socket 939 systems", reports Mag. Roland Mossig, Noctua CEO. "The world of servers and workstations is of particular interest for us and of course, we don't want to keep users of older systems from choosing our NH-U12P as well. That's why we've decided to send free K8 & socket F mounting kit to NH-U12P users on request."
The new K8 & Socket F Mounting-Kit is compatible with AMD's socket F, 939, 940 and 754. It can be obtained free of charge at www.noctua.at. Proof-of-purchase of the NH-U12P is required.
