Noctua confirms compatibility with Intel Xeon E5-2400 series (LGA1356)

Vienna, May 15th 2012 - Noctua today confirmed the compatibility of the NH-U12DX 1366 and NH-U9DX 1366 heatsinks with Intel’s new LGA1356 based Xeon E5-2400 CPUs. The coolers’ SecuFirm2™ mounting system supports the new platform out of the box and doesn’t require any modifications or upgrades for use on LGA1356.

As the hole spacing and backplate for CPU cooler installation on LGA1356 are identical to the LGA1366 platform for Xeon 5500/5600, the NH-U12DX 1366 and NH-U9DX 1366 are fully compatible with the new platform for Xeon E5-2400.
