Noctua - Bild

Noctua's DO line of coolers has become a default choice when it comes to quietly cooling AMD Opteron CPUs. Upgrading both compatibility and performance, the new A3 model features Noctua's professional NM-A3 SecuFirm2™ mounting system that not only supports socket G34, C32 and F, but also allows to install the cooler turned by 90°. Thanks to six heatpipes, a performance optimised fin stack and its two premium grade NF-B9 92mm fans, the compact NH-U9DO A3 cools Opteron processors up to a thermal design power (TDP) of 115W at minimum noise levels. Bundled with Noctua's industrial-grade NT-H1 thermal compound and fitting standard 4U chassis, the NH-U9DO A3 forms a complete premium quality package for quietly cooling AMD workstations and servers.

Caution: Due to its more compact design and quiet operation, the NH-U9DO A3 is approved only for processors with up to 115W thermal design power (TDP). Using the NH-U9DO A3 on higher TDP processors may be possible with increased case ventilation depending on the specific configuration but is not officially supported by Noctua.

    24.11.2014 - Play3r.net NF-A4x10 5V
Test verdict: "If you want the best of the best, you are going to pay for it and that’s just the way it is! The fans on review today offer good value for the money in the fact they have outstanding performance and when it comes down to it, would we really expect anything less from Noctua? If you are in the market for some new fans the new offerings from Noctua will not let you down. They follow in the same footsteps of those before them and are helping to grow Noctua’s legacy as a leader in cooling solutions." (Ben Enos, Play3r.net)

Test verdict: "In the end, the NF-A4x10, NF-A8 and NF-A9 fans comply with Noctua’s Premium Fan statement. Backed by an outstanding six year warranty, these fans should last a computer’s life time without you needing to replace them. With pricing starting at $18.95 for the NF-A8, $19.99 for the NF-A9, and $23.99 for the NF-A4x10, you can’t go wrong buying these fans." (Justin Vendette, TechSupportForum.com)

    21.11.2014 - OCDrift.com NH-D15
Test verdict: "There’s no doubting that the Noctua NH-D15 is a very decent air cooler. Noctua improved the shortcomings of the old flagship cooler NH-D14 by expanding the dual tower design and offer a much better memory compatibility, which allows for more memory kits with high-profile heatspreader to sit under the heatsink. The build quality is excellent with the heatsink’s aluminium fins soldered nicely onto the heatpipes. The SecuFirm2 mounting kit makes cooler installation easier and more secured."
