Noctua at Computex 2013 | | | Noctua took last week's Computex Taipei trade show as an opportunity to give an update on its cooperation with Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) specialists RotoSub®, exhibiting a prototype of what is going to be world's first CPU cooler with integrated ANC as well as an early prototype of an ANC fan for watercooling radiators. In addition to its new ANC prototypes, Noctua's booth gave stage to a novel diamond-composite base plate for CPU coolers as well as a series of other fan and heatsink prototypes. Last but not least, Noctua gave an exclusive insight on its upcoming 140mm dual tower CPU cooler, industrial fans and redux edition fan models. |  |

Test verdict: "Noctua platziert mit dem NH-U12S einen vergleichsweise kleinen aber kräftigen Towerkühler auf dem Markt, der zeigt, dass man mit durchdachtem Konzept, hochwertigen Materialien und nahezu perfekter Verarbeitung wesentlich größeren Vertretern aus der Kühlerkonkurrenz durchaus das Fürchten lehren kann. Gerade in etwas beengteren Gehäuseverhältnissen kann der NH-U12S sicherlich ganz groß aufspielen und sollte als Kühler dringend in die engere Wahl genommen werden.
