This makes uneven load distribution and potential contact issues visible at an early stage, helping users identify conditions that could otherwise lead to localised heating and connector damage. Currents, voltages, temperatures and total power consumption are monitored continuously to provide a comprehensive overview of the connector’s operating conditions.

If a configurable threshold is exceeded, the integrated display provides a clear visual warning and an audible alarm is triggered. Using the supplied splitter cable, the WireView Pro II can also initiate an optional automatic system shutdown. All essential monitoring and configuration functions are available directly on the device without requiring software, while optional PC software and USB-C firmware updates provide additional flexibility.

For the Noctua Edition, the cooling system has been extensively customised around a CNC-milled aluminium heatsink, an integrated frameless NF-A4x10n fan and a signature Noctua fan grill. The thermal mass and passive heat dissipation of the heatsink allow the semi-passive fan to stay completely switched off most of the time and to start up only at high heat loads or high ambient temperatures, providing silent operation in the vast majority of scenarios and significantly quieter cooling than the standard version when active.
