I admit that I am extra picky when it comes to expensive products, and this is precisely the case with the NF-A14x25 G2 fan, which costs 40 dollars per piece. Three of them cost more than a good mid-tower chassis or as much as a good ATX v3.1 850W Gold PSU. So why is this fan so expensive? Besides its top build quality, you have the development cost and the support provided, which, in Noctua’s case, is top. The fan doesn’t have any ARGB lighting or even a daisy-chain option to justify its increased cost. Still, if you ask me, its performance is so good, in the noise range that it matters the most in real life, that I wouldn’t mind emptying my wallet to buy two or three to have such high performance at low noise output, with the added reliability as a bonus. The SSO bearing that Noctua uses has proved highly reliable so far.
