NF-A12x25 G2 LS-PWM

Next-gen 120mm fan

Next-gen 12cm design

For unprecedented quiet cooling performance

State-of-the-art engineering

Progressive Bend impeller, Sterrox® LCP material & ultra tight tip clearance

4-pin, low-speed version

Ideal for semi-passive setups

The NF-A12x25 G2 is the second-generation, further improved successor to the groundbreaking NF-A12x25 and 120mm sister model to the award-winning 140mm NF-A14x25 G2: Like its much-acclaimed predecessor, it is made from Sterrox LCP and features an extremely tight tip-clearance of only 0.5mm. At the same time, its further optimised Progressive Bend impeller with winglets, Flow Acceleration Channels and the new Centrifugal Turbulator Hub enable the G2 version to surpass the original NF-A12x25’s performance, making it Noctua’s undisputed new flagship in the 120mm range.

Just like its predecessor and the 140mm version, the NF-A12x25 G2 is a true all-rounder that yields superb results in all types of usage, regardless of whether it’s in low-impedance, airflow-oriented applications such as case cooling, or high-impedance, static pressure demanding scenarios such as on heatsinks and water cooling radiators.

For application-specific optimisation, the NF-A12x25 G2’s AAO (Advanced Acoustic Optimisation) frame can be combined with the included NA-AVG1 anti-vibration gasket for a tighter seal on radiators or the optional NA-IS1-12 inlet side spacer frame, which can help to achieve superior suction acoustics and flow rates in challenging “pull“ configurations.

The 4-pin LS-PWM version is a low-speed, PWM-enabled variant that is ideal for semi-passive setups or ultra-low-noise applications that require near-silent acoustics and PWM based speed control. Its super-low-loss etaPERF motor with Smooth Commutation Drive 2 technology combines unprecedented energy efficiency with a superb running smoothness that is guaranteed to satisfy even the most noise-sensitive users.

Topped off with Noctua’s reference-class SSO2 bearing, a rich bundle of accessories and 6-year manufacturer’s warranty, the NF-A12x25 G2 is a premium-quality product through and through. Its superior performance, comprehensive feature set, cutting-edge construction and state-of-the-art materials set a new standard within Noctua’s portfolio and make it an elite choice for the most discerning demands.

Key features

Progressive-Bend impeller

The NF-A12x25 G2 features a unique Progressive-Bend impeller with Flow Acceleration Channels and winglets. Its nine blades are swept backwards close to the hub and progressively bent forward further out. Working in tandem with the Centrifugal Turbulator hub, this design not only helps to push more air towards the outer blade areas where efficiency is higher but also assures maximum lift and near uniform loading across the entire blade span.

SSO2 bearing

The NF-A12x25 G2 features the further optimised second generation of Noctua's renowned, time-tested SSO bearing. With SSO2, the rear magnet is placed closer to the axis to provide even better stabilisation, precision and durability.

Ultra-tight tip clearance

The NF-A12x25 G2 has an extremely tight tip clearance (distance between the blade tips and the inside of the frame) of only 0.5mm. This highly ambitious design helps the NF-A12x25 G2 to work more efficiently against back pressure, such as on heatsinks or radiators, by reducing leak flows through the gap between impeller and frame.

Ultra-quiet low-speed version with PWM

Producing only 11.8 dB(A) at its 1100rpm maximum speed and 7.8 dB(A) with the included Low-Noise Adaptor, the LS-PWM version is ideal for serious silent-enthusiasts: An ultra-quiet low-speed fan that supports PWM control for advanced acoustic fine-tuning!
