Award-winning NH-D15 G2 cooler
While the original NH-D15 has reigned supreme for an entire decade, the G2 model provides another step up in performance and technology. Further refined in virtually all respects from the heatsink and the fans all the way down to the mounting, thermal paste and accessory package, the NH-D15 G2 has become a new reference.

chromax.black design
The NH-D15 G2 chromax.black is black from head to toe: Featuring a black heatsink with high thermal conductivity coating, black fans with black anti-vibration-pads, black fan clips and black mounting parts, it’s right at home in all-black builds and easy to integrate with other colour schemes.

Two NF-A14x25r G2 fans
Noctua’s next-generation NF-A14x25r G2 fans set a new benchmark for performance-to-noise efficiency in round-frame 140mm fans. Their superb acoustics as well as their superior airflow and pressure characteristics are one of the cornerstones that enable the NH-D15 G2 to push beyond its legendary predecessor.

SecuFirm2+™ Torx-based multi-socket mounting system
Noctua’s SecuFirm2™ mounting systems have become synonymous with quality, safety and easy installation. Torx-based, the professional SecuFirm2+™ version with its included screwdriver provides even better handling and durability. Socket support includes Intel LGA1851, LGA1700 (since 2021), LGA1200 and LGA115x (LGA1150, LGA1151, LGA1155, LGA1156), as well as AMD AM4 and AM5.

NH-D15 G2 vs. NH-D15 performance data
With an NSPR (Noctua’s Standardised Performance Rating) score of 228, the NH-D15 G2 sets a new performance benchmark. But how does it compare to it's predecessor?
Offset AM5 mounting: technical backgrounds
Noctua’s AM5 offset mounting bars shift heatsinks to the south side of the AM5 socket. But why is this necessary, and how much does it improve cooling performance?
Fan speed offset explained: Beat frequency theory
When two fans are running together at almost the same speed, their acoustic interaction can lead to undesirable harmonic phenomena, known as beat frequencies.
NF-A14x25(r) G2 performance: improvements for heatsinks, radiators and cases
The next-gen NF-A14x25 G2 takes cooling performance to the next level, but what specific improvements can you expect to see compared to its predecessor?
Our G2 fans’ aerodynamic innovations: keys to superior performance
Building on the technological innovations of the NF-A12x25, the G2 models represent a further refined, second-generation implementation of this design approach.
What makes the Seasonic PRIME TX-1600 Noctua Edition so quiet?
The Noctua Edition is around 8-10dB(A) quieter than the regular model across the entire fan speed range, but what is the key to this stark difference?
