Pulsar recommends this mouse for a medium hand size, or a palm-to-fingertip measurement of 7.1" to 7.9". My hand, after a quick bit of measuring, comes in at around 7.7", pushing the upper limit of their “medium” definition. With that in mind, the mouse does feel very comfortable to use, fitting nicely into my palm. Claw grippers should be comfortable as well and I could feel airflow on my palm, no matter which grip I tried. It is also, definitely, a right-hand mouse, with a slope designed for a right-hand grip, making it less comfortable for the lefties amongst us.

Inside, an NF-A4x10 40mm fan springs to life with the mouse itself and can be controlled with no additional software. Pressing the two side buttons and scrolling up or down on the wheel will cycle through fan modes: off, speed 1, and speed 2. Both speeds, when actually running, are remarkably quiet (speed 2 has some noise, but not loud enough for anyone around me to hear) and push a good amount of air through the mouse. It’ll also turn itself off after a few minutes of sitting still, but will kick right back in if it detects movement, helping to preserve wireless battery life.

While the F01 can be connected via a wired connection, it also comes with the Link 2 dongle for wireless connections. The Link 2 features two simple buttons on it, with one specifically for DPI, and the other offering a bit more flexibility. By default, it works as the Profile swapper for quick jumps between different mouse settings, but use the Bibimbap app and you can remap it to be a Turbo mode button, polling rate swapper, fan mode changer, and more.

That Bibimbap app is also where the invisible esports features become visible. The F01 features the ever-more-common 8K polling rate for ultra-responsive gaming as well as the XS-2 Flagship Sensor for a DPI of up to 42,000. While the average gamer might never see the true impact of either of these features -- you’ll need esports-level reactions to really make the most out of them -- they will notice the light, 73-gram weight.
